Riva x Marc Newson "Aquarama" Speedboat

Australian born Industrial artist Marc Newson, best known for his furniture and collaborations with G-Star clothing brand has collaborated with Riva Boats to create a special edition speedboat with a limited run of 22.
The Aquarama infused Riva's attributes while keeping within his own signature style. The boat features a streamlined instrument panel, a wrap-around laminated glass windshield, separated driver and passenger seats, handles and hooks that disappear when not in use, a re-imagined stern and state-of-the-art transmission.
The boat will be available in September 2010 through NYC's Gagosian Gallery

Brand Shout : Passarella Death Squad

Passarella Death Squad comes through with their first drop of Autumn/Winter 2009 looks for you. The whole concept behind their brand is pretty cool in my opinion. They re-imagine the corporate silhouettes with their our flavor of nasty nasty. The brand only uses black or white shirts for their shirts which makes for more dramatic imagery on the garment. I have been wanting a shirt of thiers for a while now and this season has managed to hold on to my interest. Check it out.

Visvim Ballistic Luggage

I am seeing a lot of yellow this summer and although i have learned my lesson with brightly colored backpacks, I really think that Visvim has something cool dropping. Their first pieces from the Fall/Winter 2009 Ballistic Luggage Collection collection have been released. They present the 20L and 22L backpacks, as well as the E-Cat 18L messenger bag. The uppers are made of ballistic nylon and elk leather and all three bags of course feature all the technical aspects and features that one could wish for. Classic Visvim. They are now available from Cliff Edge

Transformer Chair

Here In NY, the apartments are known for having high prices and small spaces, so anything that helps save space and does the jobs of two things in one should be highly appreciated. Fotel has designed a chair that can literally transforms from a normal chair that would be good for the office into a rocking chair that is good for everything else in approximately 20 seconds. It seems that all the owner has to do is rotate the part of the chair without the seat and the steady seat turns into a casual rocking chair. The seat is made from a stretchy elastic and the rest of the chair is made from an extremely lightweight material. It is only a concept right now but the simplicity of the design probably wont stay conceptual for long.
