Let me start by saying that although I like the design of the Eugene backpack by Nike SB, I do not like how it fits. I always feel like I am taking up entirely too much space when I have it on. I have the now infamous "Buzz Lightyear" colorway and I bought it simply because I liked how the colors went together. I think I am interested in the Eugene backpack yet again because of the same reason. The Gucci colorway is always a classic colorway and I think Nike put the icing on the cake when they made that front buckle with a metal gold finish. It doesn't get any better. Inspired by the recent release of the RESN "Gucci" Dunk SB Hi this backpack may go down as one of the best colorways...in my opinion at least. Look for this to release very soon at select Nike SB retailers. Very Cool.

Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Collection
Let me 1st say that I REALLY like these. Its really not the normal shoe that I would be attracted to but there is something about the trifecta of Native American goods, craftsmanship from various Italian-manufactured footwear and antique military surplus that drew me in.
This is yet another joint effort between Vans Vault and Taka Hayashi which debuts two new silhouettes, namely the Prison Issue Lace LX and Priz Hi Lace LX. The gray Priz Hi Lace LX may have to be next on my "hit-list"
Both are available at select Vans Vault retailers worldwide.

Celsius X VI II Remontage Papillon
I'm never one to leave the house without a watch, it always makes my wrist feel naked. I know a lot of people dont mind having their cellular phone as a substitue for a watch but the good folks at Celsius X VI II have taken it one step further by completely combining an cellular phone with a tourbillion watch that integrates a patented rewinding mechanism hidden within its hinge.
Inspired by tourbillion watches—invented in the late 18th century to offset the supposed effects of gravity on accuracy by rotating a full 360º within a cage—Celsius' love for mechanical triumphs of centuries past permeates the many components of the the Papillon. Made using 547 mechanical components (most of them hand-finished), the new gadget strives for "the dream of a completely mechanical mobile phone: a phone in which every function will operate mechanically, solely through human energy."
To produce the hybrid, Celsius collaborated with renowned watchmaker Richard Mille and horological design team Confrérie Horlogère. The end result is a completely original design that brilliantly combines technology with the mechanical mastery of a Richard Mille timepiece.
Assuming you have the $275,000 that this timepiece cost, you can venture to Germany to for the 2011 Baselworld Watch and Jewelery Show. If not you have an entire year to save up. The show will be held from March 24th - 31st 2011.

PEGLEG NYC x United Arrows & Sons
Its been a slow week but I'm officially back with a post about one of my favorite accessories; the bowtie. PEGLEG is teaming up with United Arrows & Sons for two ties and bowties, both with a "stars and stripes" motif that reminds me a lot of a Tommy Hilfiger tie I had when I was much younger. I especially like the black stars and stripes, and even though the bowtie isn't represented here I'm sure it would look amazing based on how the actual neck tie looks. Very Cool.
