Not Cool: My Computer Is Messed Up
I'm Sorry folks. I just want to give you an explanation before you think I'm slacking on my blog. My computer is a bit messed up. It has been for some time now and it finally just gave up on me. I sent it out to Apple to get fixed but I may end up just getting a new one. Until then I'm going to have to excuse myself from the cool table for a little while. I may be gone for about a week or two. Sorry folks, but in the meantime you can follow me on twitter. Stay Cool. Peace

Making of Jay-Z Blueprint 3 Album Artwork
This video shows the making of Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 Album Artwork. I always liked the artwork and thought it was pretty different from Jay-Z's past album artwork with his portrait on the cover. The final image features a series of musical equipment in white, with three red stripes painted across. Check out how it was made.

The Hood Classic Just Got Taller
The classic wheat Timberland 6" construction boot now comes 2 inches higher in an 8" model. I don't know how I feel about these. I'm not the biggest fan of changing a classic but these aren't TOO bad I guess... They are now available in NY at:

Nike ‘Tongue n Cheek’ Air Max 90 by Dizzee Rascal x Ben Drury
British rap star Dizzee Rascal is oce again collaborating with Nike on an Air Max 90 to commemorate his latest "Toungue in Cheek" LP. An immediate eye catcher, the soles are finished with the ‘Dirtee Stank Recordings’ fly beneath the shoe’s transparent sole with white trim on the outsole, midsole and behind the tongue. The shoe is made of such strong materials as white suede and soft leather with tactical perforations on the toebox and collar, while the pink tongue– embroidered across the left and right shoes in the distinctive letterform– captures the ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’ theme literally and figuratively. Once again, Drury utilizes the power of 3M (as per his AM1 three years ago) in the form of Dizzee’s figure embossed on the heels and stitching on the laces this time around. These will be available on September 18th in a limited run of 1948

Marc by Marc Jacobs Skateboard Decks
Yet another person hopping on the skateboarding bandwagon is Marc Jacobs. Who probably had something to do with the LV x Steven Sprouse skateboard but thats just my guess. The skateboard deck which will be sold at his Marc by Marc Jacobs stores come in two graphics (shown above) and are available now with a limited run of 100 decks per graphic. I'm kinda diggin the one with the dude that looks like he fell off of the board. I might just scoop one and find someplace to hang it with my other Supreme decks.

Sheapard Fairey x Michael Jordan Hall of Fame Poster
Most recently, Sheapard Fairey's name has been synonymous with his iconic Barack Obama poster. Now Firey is paying tribute to another American hero, Michael Jordan. He will soon be helping to celebrate Michael’s induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame by unveiling a series of new posters that capture some memorable moments and images from Jordan’s legendary career. This is the 1st poster in the series and Mike has on a crispy pair of Fire Red Air Jordan Vs, very cool.
The Commuter Tie by Thomas Pink
This idea seems so simple that I don't know why no one thought of it sooner. These neckties from Thomas Pink may be more than a marketing jump. The commuter tie is part of the Thomas Pink Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. It features a small pocket and loop through on the reverse of the necktie to store your ipod or other electronic device. Although it may not be a necessity, I think it's a pretty cool idea.
Beats Solo Headphones by Dr. Dre
Many have been in awe of the quality that came with the Beats by Dre Monster headphones but not in awe of the $350 price tag. Fortunately the good folks down at Monster have come up with a smaller and cheaper alternative. At $220 Beats Solo provides users looking to tap into Dr. Dre's formidable experience in quality sound as a third option that fits neatly between the Studio Beats and the in-ear Tour Beats product. It also features ControlTalk functionality for on-cable control of your music and phone calls.
Burberry x Liberty Limited Edition Trenchcoat
The ever-classic trench coat is one of the few staples that works with any closet. A good trench coat is a definitive investment piece and this season we see a new take on the classic in pleasing results. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of London Fashion Week, Burberry teamed up with Liberty to create two limited editions of trench coats for men and women that will “reflect the mood and direction of the moment, whilst retaining integrity of its design and function”. The men’s version in black features a classic knee-length silhouette with an added detail underneath the collar. The underside of the collar is lined in a purple lining and topped off with an adjustable buckle strap that looks sharp with collar popped. Available in an extremely limited run of 25, the trench coats are individually numbered and will go on sale on Sep 18.

Jordan XII Red/White Retro...Finally
The Jordan XII is finally being retro'd in the highly sought after red/white colorway. Many lovers of this jordan model have not seen this colorway since 1997. I have mixed feelings about this release because I have the OG but nothing last forever so I guess all of those who couldnt get their hands on the original now have a 2nd chance. The retro stays pretty close to the original with it's White leather upper, Red mudguard, Red outsole, and Black accents. Way better than the Flu Game version I've shown earlier and a good alternative to the "Rising Sun" Version that looks surprisingly good in person. Wuudup Migz.

Nike Air Max Lebron Paris Artists Series
I purposely haven't blogged about the Nike Air Max Lebron VII's because I was waiting until it got a little closer to the release date and until the exclusive colorway came to New York. But the Parisian artist series are just too good.
Nike and Basketball star LeBron James has just received three one-of-a-kind customized versions of his latest signature shoe as a gift from local Paris artists “Nyno” and “The Mayor”. Each limited-edition style includes an image from the Lionsgate film, “More Than a Game”, which traces James’ journey through adolescence both on and off the court with his team mates from SVSM (his high-school team) and is currently touring. In each of the ten cities the tour will visit, Nike will make 123 pairs of the Air Max LeBron VII shoe available at retail.
The artists for these three 1of1 editions were inspired not only by Parisian neighbourhoods, (the city streets, lights and colours) but also by LeBron himself: His theatrical way of playing is represented by the red, with black symbolizing his elegance and green paying homage to his youth.
The Paris edition available to the public represents “Passion” and has an image of SVSM players with bowed heads, in their team colours (white with a green trim) and are available at the Nike Store Les Halles and the House of Hoops rue Pierre Lescot, whilst More Than a Game will be released in the first half of October.
