World Cup Fever

I must admit, I am not that big of a football fan, and by football I mean soccer, the most overlooked major sport in the US that is the biggest sport everywhere else. However the World cup is coming up and it seems like many companies that I am familiar with are showing love to the world cup. Maybe the United States is slowly getting ready to accept Soccer as a sport that they actually pay attention to on a large scale. PRPS Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook

Leave it to the fashion industry to remind us that Fall is right around the corner as soon as the temperature starts to warm up. In the case of the PRPS Fall/Winter collection, I don't really mind. The brand, best know for its variety of washed and distressed denim is now venturing into a full scale cut & sewn collection of shirts, pants, coats and knits. That native american blanket patterned shirt and the distressed patchwork denim shirt are among my favorites. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Bape x The Beatles

Say what you want about Bape but this collection is CRAZY, especially for all of those Beatles fans out there. The V-Neck sweater, Sgt. Pepper album cover shirt and the one with all 4 Beatles inside the Ape's head are my favorites. Check 'em out. No word on a release date but stay tuned for updates. Very Cool!

I honestly believe that 10.Deep is one street wear brand that is going to be around for a while. They seem to get better every season and their Holiday 2009 collection is no exception. Damien Hirst x Supreme

Supreme is once again working with acclaimed British artist, Damien Hirst. Hirst is known for his iconic graphic Spot paintings that depict rows of randomly-colored circles. Supreme will release a series of five individually designed decks and a Box Logo tee designed by Damien Hirst featuring his Spot paintings. I NEEEED that box logo tee. Very Cool!

These will be available at Supreme on November 19th and online November 23rd.

Brand Shout : Band of Outsiders

I have been paying attention to Band of Outsiders since they started with their ties a few years back and even more since they have had a full blown clothing line. I think their Fall/Winter 2009 collection looks exceptionally well. Amongst the chosen releases for October are three nicely cut Schoolboy Blazers, a Toggle Coat, tailored trousers, tweed vest, and a few simple button-down pieces. I would wear everything in this collection. Very Cool!
