Nike 1Love: Queens

To help kick off their World Basketball Festival, Nike got ambassadors from each borough in New York City to show them around and help celebrate the culture of basketball and the Nike Air Force 1. Queens is represented in this episode and the ambassadors are none other than my Format NY family, consisting of Nigel Sylvester, Nigel Sparkes and Jason "Cheech" Hall. In the video they guide the viewer through iconic spots in Queens like the Coliseum Mall block on Jamaica avenue and Christ The King High School. Check It out. Queens Stand UP!

Nigel Sylvester x Gatorade: Go All Day - The Morning Episode (Video)

As promised, here is Part 2 in the Nigel Sylvester "Go All Day" video series, brought to you by Gatorade. This is the "Morning" episode and it follows Nigel from the moment he wakes up in his Brooklyn apartment that he shares with his brother Adrian, through when he crosses the Williamsburg bridge into Manhattan to link up with his fellow riders Ikeem and Jose and go crazy riding BMX all over the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Nigel Sylvester x Gatorade : Go All Day - The Night Episode (Video)

Here's Part 1 in a series of 3 videos that my boy Nigel Sylvester did with Gatorade. This is the first in a set of short videos that follow Nigel through an entire day. This video, "The Night Episode," shows Nigel as he cruises the streets of New York City after dark, with fellow riders Ralphy Ramos, Tyrone Williams and Ralphy Bury, and follows them from bike to boutique to Bob's bar. Look out for FLuxuryB, the Format fam, the homie Remy from Children of the Night and everybody's favorite Mishka rep, Ease also making an appearance in the video. Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3. F&F Nigel Sylvester x Nike 6.0 MAVRK To Be Released!

So about a year ago Nigel Sylvester and the team down at FormatNY sat down with Nike 6.0 to create a limited edition Friends and Family MAVRK and Windrunner Jacket. I got the jacket but sadly the shoes were an extremely limited run and even I couldn't get a pair. Now it seems that Nike has decided to actually release these so I'm in luck but I know my Format fam isnt too happy. The lux shoe utilizes a different material on each pannel, from lizard on one toe box and ostrich on the other to the gold check on one and black on the other, these are a very interesting sneaker close up and very subtle from afar which makes it extra cool. These will be available at select Nike 6.0 locations as early as next week. I have to get my hands on these to match my Friends and Family Jacket.
