Its been officially confirmed that the Pearl Foamposite Pro is set for a re-release later this year. Although these came out just last year, it was a House of Hoops exclusive release. And even though HOH had somewhere around 700 pairs they went quickly. Luckily this will be more of a general release so all of you who missed out will be able to get a pair this time around. Normally I am not a fan of the big black check on the side of the foamposite but for the Pearls I can make an exception. What do you think about them?

2010 Nike Air Max 90 Infared Re-Release
No matter how many times the Infared Nike Air Max 90 gets released it will always be a favorite for most sneaker enthusiast and will eventually end up selling out quickly. Nike is giving another run at retroing the classic shoe in august 2010. Keep an eye out for these if you were like me and didn't get a chance to get them the last two times they got released.

Jordan VI Retro "Infared Pack" - June 2010
I'm no psychic but I have become very aware of how Nike does things, I predicted this as SOON as I saw that the "infared" Air Jordan VI was coming out in "sport red" instead of the classic infared colorway. Coming in June 2010 Nike will be releasing BOTH the white and black colorways of the infared Air Jordan VI in what they will be calling the Air Jordan VI "Infared Pack." I'm sorry for all of those who rode the wave entirely too early but all I can say is...I told you so. Now if only they put "Nike Air" on the back of them. It will never happen but I can dream can't I?

Snakeskin Jordan 11 Low Retro?
I honestly dont' know how I feel about this. I can't stamp it with the "NOT COOL" stamp because I actually own this pair of sneakers. I remember buying it to go with an Iceberg shirt that I had to wear together for the prom after party and I had to pay extra just to get them early and in time for prom...BUT I think that was the 1st sneaker I ever bought on impulse just for the sake of getting fresh for ONE event. I never really wore them again, I lost the box and they are sitting in my room unworn since maybe 2002 and now the are being Retro'd sometime this year. Everyone who still wants these now has a 2nd chance to get them, but to me when you talk about a Jordan 11, if it isn't Hi-top with patent leather then you may as well be talking about another sneaker. I'll pass but I know there are many who wont, and to them I say..."ha ha...I had em first"
No word yet on an exact release date or price.

Air Jordan IX 2010 Preview
This year is going to be a big year for fans of the Jordan IX. First off, the "Citrus" colorway which has been making it's rounds on the sneaker blogs recently is set to drop in July. Oddly enough as much as I don't like non-OG colorways in Jordans I have taken a liking to these. But not to be disappointed the classic White/Black-Red colorway is also being Re-Retro'd by itself in August and then the Shadow colorway will be seeing its first re-release since 1994 in September 2010. Whew...am I glad I dindt buy the OG 2 years ago. Either way I'll probably be picking these up this year.

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium
Patta is out in Amsterdamonce again working with Nike on a Nike Air Max 1 as part the celebration of the 5th Anniversary. This time they are using more of a basic colorblocking method using a white, what appears to be chlorophyll colored denim and a matte silver canvas palette. Patta tongue tag and footbed identify the release. The embroidered Swoosh near the toe is a good look as well. It also looks like the panel behind the swooh MAY be 3M or suede. Which is Crazy Either Way! Stay tuned for a Q4 2009 release.

"Gucci" Dunk SB High 2010 Release
I don't know if this can be considered a retro seeing as how the original version of these never officially dropped but whatever these are they may be the reason I buy my 2nd SB dunk since 2006.
I started writing this blog and I realized I was talking in circles so I'm going to break down the 1st 2 Gucci colorway dunks and then compare the pair above coming out in 2010.
*I don't know what RESN stands for at this time
1-The 1st Release looks exactly like the retro with the exception of the frayed denim and the original Nike SB logo on the toungue. Many people liked the OG version because of the frayed denim but otherwise they look exactly alike.

2- DJ Clark Kent recently released a "Gucci" colorway with ostrich leather where the denim was on the original and retro and a gum bottom instead of the red bottom. His version also was not a SB it was a regular limited release dunk

Nike Air Carnivore Retro
The Nike Air Carnivore will be retroed in Summer 2010, nearly 16 years after it's original release. Defineatley a classic. I don't know if could pull them off but I know there are a few guys out there that have been waiting for these for a while. Shout out to my boy YaK who put me on to these a few years back and has been looking for a crispy pair ever since.
