Not Cool : Air Jordan 1 "Leroy Smith"
Ok...so Jordan Brand came up with this hilarious character named "Leroy Smith," played by the infamous Charlie Murphy, about the man who supposedly motivated Michael Jordan. They had a few videos and even a music video about the character and then had the bright idea of putting out a shoe based on the character. Big Mistake. The colors are just off. It seems like they were just slapped together. It makes sense with the character based on the videos but all together it just made for an ugly sneaker and disrespected the Jordan 1 in the worst way. Seriously...Not Cool
For those interested in these they are available now for $135 at select Nike retailers.
BBC Heart and Mind Bowties
I am a big fan of the bowtie and I really like these BUT they almost got put in the "Not Cool" section for being pre-tied bow ties. Anyone who ties a bowtie can understand how hard it would have been to get the graphic on the tie in the right place so these get the pass. The front design includes the literal usages of “heart” and “mind” embroidered on the left and right sides with a further embroidery on the back of the bow-tie and band. The ties will be available tomorrow Oct. 16th, 2009 at the BBC/Icecream Store.

John Mayer - Who Says
John Mayer is back at it with his new album "Battle Studies" due out Nov. 17th. "Who Says" was directed by Anthony Mandler and is the lead single off of the new album. The song has a really cool vibe that reminds me of the nights we have all had that involved a little too much alcohol and maybe even some bud. Check it out.
Brand Shout : Swagger
I'm really feeling Swagger's Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Here are a few looks from their "Tokyo is Yours" Fall/Winter 2009 lookbook. I'm really digging the "Coca-Cola" referee polo. Swagger is from tokyo but has a good amount of western influences that gives it an interesting streetwear edge that a lot of brands don't have. Check it out
BONUS: Swagger x Nike Sportswear Terminator High - Yes...it's ONE pair with TWO Different colored shoes [Released Last Season at Select Nike & Swagger Retail Locations]
